Roadworthy Certificates
At Millennium Motors, we deliver prompt and reliable roadworthy services for all passenger vehicles, four-wheel drives, and light commercial vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes.

A roadworthy certificate is required in Victoria when re-registering a used car or transferring ownership of a used vehicle. The inspection covers a range of components crucial to the safety of your car on the road.
How To Get A Roadworthy
- Book your vehicle's Roadworthy inspection (RWC) by calling us at (03) 9439 4927, sending an email via our contact page, visiting us in person at 4/19 Bald Hill Road Pakenham 3810 or by filling out our online "Book a Service" form.
- Bring your vehicle in for the inspection along with your driver's license, and a licensed vehicle tester will assess your vehicle.
- If the vehicle passes the inspection, a Roadworthy Certificate will be issued. If not, proceed to step 4.
- If the vehicle fails the first inspection, we will provide a list of items that need to be rectified for the certificate to be issued. Additionally, we will offer you a quote for the repair costs required.
- Repairs are to be completed, and the vehicle must be represented within 7 days. Repairs can be performed by our fully trained mechanics or a mechanic of your choosing.
- Schedule a re-inspection by making a booking with us.
- We will issue a Roadworthy Certificate for your vehicle if the repairs are satisfactory.
Once the car has been serviced and repaired, the vehicle is tested to ensure safe, reliable and effective workmanship was carried out by Car Service City. As with any large, complex mechanical product, faults may occur which are not picked up during the test drive and therefore only become apparent once.
